Youth Empowerment Services (YES) is Idaho’s system of care designed to help all youth in Idaho under the age of 18 who are at risk for or have serious emotional disturbance (SED).
As part of the settlement agreement in the Jeff D. class action lawsuit, the YES system of care was created through collaboration of community stakeholders, advocates, providers, and state partners including the Department of Health and Welfare, the Department of Juvenile Corrections, and the Idaho Department of Education.
